Heartbreaking News: Cookie, a sweet soul found on the streets, is facing a grave challenge. After coming to our clinic, she tested positive for distemper, a highly contagious and often fatal disease, particularly perilous for unvaccinated dogs. Unfortunately, Cookie can’t remain at our shelter due to the risk of spreading the virus.
We are urgently seeking a foster home to provide Cookie with the best possible chance at recovery. Even a short-term foster arrangement would be immensely helpful as we work towards a long-term solution. It’s crucial that the foster home doesn’t have other dogs, and Cookie won’t be able to go on walks during this time to prevent the spread of the virus.
